Blown for the first time in 1921 thanks to the intuition of the artistic director of Venini from 1921 to 1925: the painter Vittorio Zecchin.
The artist was inspired by a painting of 1580 by Paolo Veronese “The Annunciation of the Virgin”, to create this glass work that achieved great success, so as to become the logo of the company and to remain, over time, an icon of the company.
